An heir to the textile arts,
passionate and creative

Coming from six generations of weavers, Claire Brisard embodies both the memory and renewal of an ancestral craft. In her family, textile art is not just a profession – it is a living tradition, a heritage passed hand to hand, thread to thread.

From a young age, Claire was captivated by the precise, patient gestures of needlework. She grew up to the rhythm of sewing machines, colorful fabrics, and conversations about weaving and embroidery techniques. This deep, visceral bond with textiles naturally became a guiding thread in her life.

Along her journey, Claire fell in love with the Bayeux Tapestry – the thousand-year-old masterpiece of embroidered storytelling. Fascinated by this iconic work and its unique technique, she chose to specialize in the Bayeux stitch, a method of embroidery more than a millennium old.

Today, she shares her passion through modern, accessible embroidery kits, entirely designed around this historic stitch. Created for beginners as well as seasoned embroidery enthusiasts, her kits offer the chance to discover or rediscover an exceptional heritage while creating something with your own hands.

Through her work, Claire carries forward the excellence of her lineage while paying tribute to the history of French textile art. To embroider with her is to weave a bridge between past and present, tradition and personal expression.
